I wondered how many here have their steel tilted , meaning lower in the front than the back or do you have it levelled?
And why? Silly question maybe but just interested.

Hi Uncle Roy, I have always had my guitar tilted slightly away from me found it more comfortable. I have this evening doctored the stand for the Deusenberg to give it a small forward lean.Best to you and Syl. Donny.

If it's not in the case, it's on the level

Tilted forward here. Helps get the legs underneath and makes the knee levers slightly lighter.
Cheers

Me too - a tilt lets me get my knees underneath a little more comfortably and knee levers seem easier to engage.

It's a tilt from me Uncle Roy. It helps reduce RSI in the wrist and forearm IMHO.

I prefer a tilt, slightly floppy hands do it for me, but l can’t get a full pint in my Pintee stand!

Interesting spirit level you have there Stuart
I have mine tilted for the reasons already outlined by others, just feels more natural....

My two Penneth. I much prefer to have my guitar dead level so all I have to concentrate on is position not holding the bar from slipping away if tilted. Racked stages are a nightmare!

It’s not a spirit level Geoff, it’s a beer level, silly billy.
If it was a spirit level, it would pose an unacceptable fire hazard, and I would hate to see me and my lovely guitar(s)
Go up like a

Christmas Pud.....
