Sandy Green RIP

It is great sadness to inform friends of Sandy Green. That he peacefully passed away yesterday in hospital.
As most knew head was fighting a brain tumour for some time.
Condolences to Shena and his family.

I received the sad news this morning from Sandy's daughter Julie.
I had been keeping in touch with Sheena every other day since Sandy had been hospitalised.
Sandy was always a cheerful character when we spoke on the phone,You could always hear the smile in His voice.
Rest in peace dear friend.

So sad to hear of Sandy's ( or Lloyd as we called him) passing.He was a larger than life character and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.Thinking of Sheena and the family.

He loved the steel guitar and being a member of the BSS.
Sandy last year sporting the brain tumour bandana I sent him.

Believe Sandy's funeral will be at Ayr Crematorium on Thursday at 2pm.
