I only found out last night from an insert in a magazine that Drew Hammill had passed on August 18th.
Drew was a superb steel player, He had been in poor health for quit a while and dropped off the scene.I last saw Him about 8 years ago and He looked quite poorly.

VERY SORRY TO HEAR THIS. I KEPT IN TOUCH WITH DREW, HE HAD TURNED UP AT A GIG IN EAST KILBRIDE ABOUT 5 YRS AGO, HE GAVE ME HIS NUMBER AND WHEN MY WORK TOOK TO EAST KILBRIDE I WOULD GIVE HIM A CALL, IF HE WAS WELL ENOUGH WE WOULD MEET AND HAVE A CHAT. GREAT MUSICIAN. RIP.

Sorry to hear of Drew's passing, his Showbud was the first D10 I ever saw.
