Had a phone call from my good buddy Slim yesterday, he was devastated because he had to have his poor old dog that he has had for 0ver 10 years put to sleep, so please spare a thought for Slim.

Keep your chin up slim. I know it's a terrible thing but think of the happy memories you have.
Thinking of you, H. :(

Slim, I sympathise, we lost our old fella last summer, it still sneaks up on me sometimes and brings a tear. But when the time comes, it's the last kindness we can do for them. Such wonderful companions, a lesson to us all.

Slim, got three ageing Labradors and dreading loosing them.As you say they are a massive part of the family, and my kids have been brought up with them, so it will be devastating when they go.Non doggy people just don't realise the loss incurred.
