[b] It occurred to me that we have so many new players on here that very few of you will be aware of uncle Roy and his contribution to British steel guitar, But for those of us that have been trying to play this thing for 50 years, Uncle Roy was what we had before this beautiful forum. With his Steel meetings and his magazines every month he pulled us together and for that he deserves recognition, Happy birthday sir and many thanks.

I sit here this morning remembering all our steel mates that have gone and gave us pleasure with their friendship and music.
