a chat about him as we discussed the labels on the well traveled case! Just got the news from Frank.

As everyone has stated John was a hell of a nice man and a good steelplayer.

Posted: Tue Jul 14, 2020 2:43 pmI met John when he was playing with Frank Ifield, we did a show at the Aberdeen CC early 80s, I was playing with a band called Legend. A very nice man to speak to and a great steel player. RIP. Donny.
