and on this day, he'd part with some to buy Ken Byng a card
but a penny for each birthday , that's what he'd have to pay
to post it into Englandshire, right down Southampton way.
To a Scotsman it's the thought that counts, but 70p 's a lot!
if posting this brought ruin, reputations would be shot!
A cheaper option I'll find here, it doesn't cost a thing
