I heard another fishy tail and I Tope this is the plaice I can post, that tomorrow is "Haddock's" birthday, I can't remember who spawned the tail, but many happy returns although I do believe his date of birth is now under scrutiny?

If the 29th's your birthday then could you be so kind
to give notice if you've cancelled, as you might have changed your mind
have you tabled an amendment or had it changed some way
fate won't stop you getting older that's the price you have to pay

Try thinking less of problems, don't reinvent the wheel
enjoy your " toy" and play it more, that red neck pedal steel
get drunk upon your birthday, as of cake there's little hope
'cos just like others reading this, you're on the slippy slope

Have a happy birthday, if and when it comes
I'll leave numbers up to others, 'cos I'm no good with sums
you have everything you've wished for, so a present I'll not give
I hope you may enjoy your toys, with plenty years to live!

Thanks Robert, another few hours you could have been practicing spent writing your poems! Much appreciated though!
As the wallopers that run this country have postponed my most unwelcome present, the only certainty is a card from the NHS on this even numbered birthday which will invoke some use of the backstop. Plenty to sample in the garden though after the tank episode......
Cheers

Here's your answer
" the only certainty is a card from the NHS on this even numbered birthday "
That's only a fancy scratch card in disguise! :P

" which will invoke some use of the backstop "
Have a word with big Eileen Foster from across the water, she knows a lot
about the backstop and knows how to handle shit as well!

" Plenty to sample in the garden though after the tank episode...."
And I thought that smell came from Sheildhall sewage works.! :o

Forget your troubles get drunk and enjoy your birthday
