Thank you all for your kind words and concern, the loss of Kate in such a short time has left a deep void in my life and its more than I can put into words, she was the one I was relying on to organise my send off now it is all turned around. I cannot believe the number of good friends she had that I was totally unaware of, one nice lady started an internet fund for the children and in the space of a couple of weeks it has grown to over 2k! I think Kate must have been “Special” to quite a lot of people out there and I just failed to notice. She leaves two really nice kids Joe who is eight and Maddie who is ten and they will be loved and cared for by Kate’s older sister Emmaline who has been an absolute rock through this terrible ordeal.
Kate did not care for the type of music I like to play, The one and only time I managed to get her on a stage was when the Brentwood theatre asked me if I could put a scratch band together to fill a one hour spot and support a Dolly Parton tribute show, (I think most of you have already seen this but will put the link up anyway) The video taken by a very young Becky who could not hold the camera still but it shows Kate’s first and last gig with her Dad.
