Heard about Spencer's death immediately after Aidan Cunningham's memorial at the Irish Show, we are loosing far too many good guys lately, go in peace my dear friend..

In August this year I spent 3 days with Spence at his home in Folkstone. He was in great form. We went to his guitar club on the
first evening and I heard him play 6 string guitar for the first time ...... I was impressed, as I had only heard him play pedal steel.
The following day we headed to Canterbury and spent a great day with Dave and Carol Kirk. Spence was a lovely guy with a great
sense of humour. He will be missed by all who knew him.
RIP dear friend.
