Just to let our friends know who often inquire about Carol's health,
I am pleased to let everyone who knows us the last week Carol had her 5 year 'all clear' from cancer notification from the head and neck surgeon at Canterbury Hospital, I didn't know what to buy her to celibate so I thought I might order myself a new amp.

Unfortunately, the after affects of the sever Radiotherapy she underwent, has left her with many scars around her neck which she is very conscious of, and she spends a lot on scarfs and things to cover them up.
She still has a lot of discomfort and pain where the skin and nerve ends are damaged, and constantly trying to repair themselves, along with discovering her carotid artery was reduced by 50% by the radiation, meaning to try to avoid the strong possibilities of clotting which may cause a strike, she is on a mixture of drugs to keep the blood thin, and control the pain, these leave her whacked out all the time,
But the main thing is she is still with us!

We are sorry to have missed the Irish Steel Guitar Festival for the second year, not only because Carol can't get travel insurance anymore, but she is just generally always uncomfortable. The organizers of the Festival, are all brilliant people, and I am sure understand, that we are not purposely not supporting their great Festival.
Sorry about the long explanation, but so many of you guy's showed so much support for her, I thought you deserve being up dated.
Kindest Reards
Dave

Dave, that news is great, not about your amp mate but about our Carol's health. Please give her our best wishes.
