Billy, I think you are right, I had a similar request not long ago from another member which turned out to be a scam.

Yep definitely a Facebook clone, becoming more and more common.

One Dave Seddon, there's only one Dave Seddon, one Dave Seddon!

I keep getting similar communications from USA players on Facebook. In their case it's their government grants of $150,000. I've always believed that you don't get something for nothing in life. :o

I had one of these a few months go - it asks if you've applied for your 'XYZ' (or whatever) in the hope that you will respond to ask what 'XYZ' means. Then there will be something like a claim form with - guess what - a fee to pay! I actually did replay "Don't try to scam me, pal" and heard no more.

Gentlemen I had no idea about this topic until John Davis alerted me, I can assure you it is absolutely nothing to do with me. I had a similar incident supposedly from Mike Beniams down Hereford way saying I was entitled to £100,000, obviously I contacted Mike straight away and of course he knew absolutely nothing about it. It was one of those scams where they say the money is yours but you have to send them money in order to release the money to your bank. Some time ago I got scammed for £400 by a very clever scammer so now I know the score, NEVER AGAIN.
