Addition to the family

After a lot of heartbreak for my step-daughter Amanda, loads of IVF and a really difficult and at times dangerous pregnancy, I am delighted to say I am now a Grandad. Charlotte Hope Gailey born earlier this month (the 7th) at 5lb 10oz in old money. She's a bright little thing, very alert. Amanda didn't want me publicising this earlier until she and the baby were out of the woods, but all is well now.

She can't reach the pedals yet, but.....
