More sad news.

Bristol based Hawaiian style steel player Johnny Smith passed away today at noon.
He was one of our first members of the BSS back in the 70's.
Most of our regulars at our meetings would rembember him for the sweet tone he got from his 6 string Lap steel.
Our condolences to his wife Marg and family. RIP Johnny , one real nice man.

Sorry I never had the pleasure of knowing him personally but I still wish the family of a fellow member every best wish at this sad time.

The funeral for John will be held the 4h April at 12.30am at Haycombe Cremation, Bath.
