Malcolm has had half of the staples removed from his stomach, and the remaining half are due to be removed tomorrow (Monday). I offered to do it for him as I have a staple remover. I don't think Malcolm fancied that as it is for removing staples from paper.

Good luck for tomorrow Malcolm. It will be all downhill from there, and you will soon be able to consume a load of Roy Heap's doughnuts. :D

Now now Malcolm, you know that is not true.
I remember one time at the Irish festival, Uncle Roy bought our table a drink, and when it was my turn for a sip I stood up and thanked him.

Get your passport ready Malcolm. Roy has arranged for the Bristol customs to be in place when you come down on Friday. You may well experience a major heatwave when you get south of your border. 35 degrees Celsius (95 Fahrenheit) in the shade in my garden today - my old terrier doesn't know what to do with himself it's that hot. Absolutely sweltering, so you had better get the mole grips on your car's air con and get it on maximum setting. I went and had a swim in the sea at Lee On Solent at 6.00 this evening. People thought it was Moby Dick in the water. :o

My Emmons was spot on in tune when I tried it at lunchtime today. They really are great guitars at holding their tuning in all temperatures. :D

Ken,I suppose old Heap will have done his usual and B******d off to Bournmouth with his geriatric outing, that's normally what happens when I'm in Bristol, anything other than buy the donuts.Think temp will have dropped a bit by Friday, car is new so aircon in good order.
If back in water watch out for locals coming out in boats with harpoons.
