It was an honour to be there to see our friend laid to rest.As Willie said it was a beautiful day and although sollem it had its lighter moments and, as Derek would have wanted, lots of laughter among all the steeleies present at our memories of Dallas and such.His family were amazing and did him proud, and Alan's song was a fitting end.You will be sadly missed but always remembered with great fondness.Goodbye my friend.

I felt humbled to be at Dereks funeral yesterday, and it is a mark of the man that it so well attended. He was laid to rest in one of the most beautiful spots you could imagine. RIP.

Heartwarming to know that Derek had a nice send off, much respect for all you laddies that attended.
