Not sure how many of you know of Jimmy Capps. He's been around Nashville for donkey's years, and was a regular staff guitarist on the Oprey. Jimmy was a superb 6-string guitarist, and was the gent in many YouTube clips that featured the Country Family Reunion shows on RFD TV. He was the guy with white hair and beard who played a red Strat, very tastefully I might add. RIP Jimmy.

More sad news, another legend gone.
Jimmy was the staff guitarist on the Grand Ole Opry for many years.
He recorded an album with the late Weldon Myrick who was the staff steelplayer with the Opry.
RIP Jimmy.

One of my favourite guitar players. A master of when to play and when not to! Great taste and a true gent.

So sorry to hear this news - Jimmy Capps was an absolute legend and will leave a gap that nobody else will be able to fill. RIP Jimmy.
