Hallo dear members, i'm Christian (Chris) from Germany /Schauenburg (near Kassel) and a half side Newbie of the Pedal Steel Guitar.
I got to know the pedal steel guitar late and practiced almost every day to improve. But sometimes it just does not work!
My interest is also in mechanics. My first Pedal Steel was a Sho-Bud Maverick Now I play on a ZUM-Steel D10 .. I am pleased to be here in the forum.

best regards Chris

Hello and welcome Chris,
You've come to the correct location for all things steel. That's a lovely model you have in the Zum. All the best from the west
And if you're ever visiting Scotland, try and coincide it with a SSGW meeting in Gartcosh. :guitar: you'd be most welcome.

Hello Danny,

Thank you for the welcome and thank you for the invitation to the SSWG meeting, oh man, Scotland is so far away, but it will certainly work someday.
Yes, I am really satisfied with my ZUM-Steel. I bought it in 1997 from Bobbe Seymore in Goodlettsville. 7 FP + 4 KN. On the second neck is not a C6 tuning, but E6th.
Tuning.

best greetings Chris

Hello John Davis

Hello John Davis

Thank you for the welcome.
I'm really happy with my ZUM-Steel, I also have a great sound, I use a VHT tube amplifier (12 "), Alesis-Hall and small equalizers, I only play at CD's at home ... In 1997 I joined Bobbe Seymore in Goodlettsville bought 7 FP + 4 KN.
On the first neck is the E9th tuning and on the second neck is not a C6 tuning, but an E6th. Tuning.Countrymusik does not have much in Germany, because many people hear the music, but the meaning of the text barely or not understand. Many older people do not understand English.

best greetings Chris ;)
