Hi, all. I'm not too sure if I should be on here at all- I'm just a great fan of steel guitar and s.g. players. As a lifelong keyboard player I just can't get my head around all the complications of your machines. It was hard enough learning to play bass on an organ some 60 years ago! I have the greatest admiration for anyone who can master the steel guitar, keep up the fantastic work.

Welcome Casey :D
A good place for you to start would be a trawl through the steel recordings section of the forum. There's hours of great stuff lurking in there.
GFI Ultra keyless S10 4+5 Emmon's setup + Sigler, Li'l Izzy, Hilton volume pedal, Roland Cube 80gx, Joyo American Sound Pre-amp, Behringer VD400 Delay Pedal, Peterson Strobo Plus HD and a brace of bars, Ben's, Ezzee-Slide, Pearse, BJS, SIT nickel strings.

Welcome to the forum Casey, who knows you might get one of our 'electric cheese slicers' and have a go.  Good to have you and thank you for the kind comments.
The 'Scottish' contingency have a recording you can download for the price of a donation, it is very good.

Regards Ron Mc
Roland amps, Telecaster, Tyros 4 and several self built steels.

Thanks for the welcome, chaps. I don't think I'll ever get around to owning a cheese slicer but I've been really into the sound for the last 40 or so years. I've been listening and watching Dave Hartley's work as well as Sarah Jory's. I remember seeing her as a 13 year old. God, I feel old!
Looking forward to dropping in here to keep up with things.
