Thanks Bob (Admin) for recommending The British Steelies Society to me. It looks like a fantastic forum to be in and I am glad to be here.

Now (being a bit selfish here) I need some help.

I am a complete novice with the PSG although I have had my 10 string Springfield student for about a year. A little while back my 5th string started to sound a bit tinny so I changed the strings but to no avail. Could the cause be the pick up?

If so can anyone advise as to where I can get a pick up and what type to match the Springfield.
