The British Steelies Society

New to this forum so I just want to say hi and thank you for letting me be a part of this steel community!

A few words about me...
Born the same year Gram Parsons started to dig in to country music. I've been playing guitar almost all my life. Acoustic, electric, lap-steel and now I'm trying to add pedal steel to the list. I'm not a pro, far from it, but I write and record music and enjoy playing as much as anyone I guess.
I make my living working mainly as a sound engineer, live and studio.
Did a show once at a club here in Uppsala where I had a star-struck moment meeting Al Perkins

Feel free to check out my music at my artist website if you like.

Welcome Anders.

I feel very welcome here among all you steelers, thank you!
So I finally bought my first PSG. Had a Fender 400 on loan for a while... but now I'm a proud owner of a Sho-Bud LDG that i bought from Damir.
After a few minor tweaks and intonation it plays and sounds very good. Amazing sustain in this old wood!

That's a lovely guitar that you've ended up with Anders Enjoy your adventures in Steelie land
