Hello Barry - long time no hear. I am so pleased that you have kept your Emmons and didn't jack it in when you moved to Wales. You were just getting into C6 the last time I saw you, which was when you were with Bobby Howard down at Arnie's Shack.

Regards
Ken

Left or right doesn't matter John, If it's the Kluson type.
It only take five minutes to change one around. Just prise up the two lugs, remove the cover and reverse the worm gear section that has the tuner button on it, then re-assemble.

Baz you just made my day!! Thank you, I just bought three tuners and only one of them was the right hand and I need two for my renovated Emmons .... This forum would be a poorer place without the benefit of your help and advice :D

That means there is one left over for Barry >>>

Hi,first my apologies for the time lag in replying.I have been away for a few days with no internet access.Thankyou for the welcome,Basil you are right when you say the machine head is a Kluson,it is a chrome Tulip head design.I have tried all over the place for one of these without success,Emmons included. Then I found a post by Ken Byng on this site about someone in the States that may be able to help.I have contacted them and am still awaiting a reply. In answer to Ken,yes I am still trying to get to grips with C6th,love the sound! Thanks to all who replied to my first post.Barry F.

If no-one here can help you with the single tulip Kluson, go to http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/ 01233 820082 . They are based in Kent. You can download their on-line catalogue, and it looks as though they can sell any of the Kluson range. I would give them a ring, as they may have some old ones lying around. I have used them in the past and they are very helpful. You may need to email them a photo of the dud tuner, as they have evolved a bit over the years and now have modern replacements as well as the original type that you need. I wish you luck.

Best wishes
Ken
