Hi Everyone, I have just joined the BSS and am very happy to be part of your community. Most people know me as the Frontman/lead guitarist of the UK band 'First Chapter' but not many people know that I can also play PSG and have done so since the mid 70s. I play a Sho-Bud Super Pro D10 and use a Peavey Vegas 400 amp. The setup I've used for many years. I look forward to chatting with you all and sharing experiences. I am also currently working with the Jeff Gallant Band where I get to play steel so am enjoying dividing my time between the two bands. Cheers, Ray

Hi Ray,
Good to hear from you. I'm just up the road in Tooting so do let me know if you ever fancy meeting up for a jam and sharing a couple of licks!
Henry

Hi Henry, thanks for your reply. I hadn't realised there were any steelies so close to me so would really like to meet up some time. How long have you been playing steel? I'm pretty busy with gigs for the next two weeks but after that perhaps we could meet up? Cheers, Ray

Hi Ray
I'm in Merton SW19. I knew there'd be more than me in this area. I'm new at psg though - less than 2 years. I have a Sho-Bud SD10 with a rebuilt undercarriage. Just play at home to amuse myself.
(You don't work in the ticket office at Morden tube station, do you?)

Hi Nick, apologies for the delayed reply but I've been busy gigging and have not visited the BSS for a while. Great to know there's another PSG player in Merton - and a ShoBud player...that's amazing!! Like Henry in Tooting, it would be nice to meet you guys and play together. I started playing PSG in the mid 70's but am still learning :) I have visited the ticket office in Morden Tube Station many times but have never worked there!! Thanks for making contact.
