Better introduce myself
After making several postings in the "for sale" section of the forum, I had better introduce myself.
I read the sticky about new members & their first post & it advised against making a "hello members post" in Introductions as a first post, I did wonder if a response to an item for sale would be appropriate also, I know from past experience that most forum owners (and members) dislike people who join purely with the intention of making 'quick sales' & not wanting to participate in anything else...
Anyway, I must say this from my limited experience on here, the camaraderie between the members & the help that I have personally had from several members on here plus a non internet "steelie" (Sandy Green) are truly outstanding! I have belonged to fishing forums as well as keyboard & other music forums & non can compare in their warmth & helpfulness.
I have played the guitar on & off for a number of years, I can also play the piano a little & even did grade1 on the violin but attempting a pedal steel is a new experience!
Best regards,
Barry
