Hi Folks Colin here, Just waded through registration and everything ,ended up here ,don't know if i'm in the right place or really what i'm doing or supposed to be doing,but as this is the first opportunity to write something thought i better had.
Heard about the The British Steelies Society many years ago ,people often asked if i was a member but only recently did i get over to Puckelchurch to see what was going on. Pleased to see an impressive selection of steels set up some that i'd never seen close up before, that alone was worth going for. Also met up with a few players that I hadn't seen for ages and got to hear them play a bit. Hope to go again when I can and hopefully will be able to contribute to what's happening. Find playing the pedal steel easier than negotiating some of these web sites! I play Pedal-steel/Dobro/Guitar/Mandolin. thanks Colin.
