My cousin traced us back to the 14th century.. then it Machamish....and we got run out of Scotland for being sheep thieves... LOL.. so my cuz sez.. :o
My wife and I are thinking about taking a trip and seeing Scotland, and I could sure use some travel tips.. I hope to meet up a lot of you steelies on here.. Many thanks Bob for the invitation, and I will try not to make too much trouble... I play an Excel S-12 Superb, and love the way it sounds and plays. We've owned a good many pedal steels, and all have had their moments.. LOL.. I am 71 years old.. retired..and playing my pedal steel.. and flying some.. How better could it get for this ole goat...?? Later guys..
Many thanks for allowing me in your domain...

Hi Joe, Your clan sounds a bit like mine, we were border sheep steelers and rapists, I'm not sure if that's the correct order. Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome!! We keep our steel playing gear simple and light weight.. Excel Superb S-12 .. 8 & 5. Fender Princeton amp. RV-3 stompbox.. We also have a Peavey Vegas that weighs a ton... I recently added to my toys.. Casio Pg-380 MIDI guitar. Got the 380 off ebay, and it had to be repaired. It plays and sounds great.. and now market value $1800... Thats the gear run-down..
