Hi all, it is great to find a UK based site for Lap Steel players. I have just taken up playing as Unable to play ordinary guitar due to arthritis and have found since purchasing a couple of steels to be a lot better on my fingers and wrists. I was looking for any advice and help that there may be around but only found it on US sites until now. Looking forward to reading all the help and information on this site.

There are people on here who know things that you never reallised you needed. What's more, they are only too happy to share it with you. Being a member is like winning the lottery, but instead of money you will get years of experience, which is much more valuable.

Hi H, cheers for the welcome. Just got myself a Goldtone LS6 and an Anderwood teardrop lovely steels gettint to grips with them
