Hello all,

Ole from Denmark here!

I'm new to this forum, but not quite new to the steel, as I've been a steel player (make that a steel guitar OWNER!) for 14 years and I'm a long time member of the american forum as well.
3 years ago I decided to quit playing, but after yet another very pleasant and inspiring trip to the Irish steel festival this year I've decided to try and give it one more chance and to maybe spark some new interest and inspiration I'm joining here, as I've met quite a few of you guys in Ireland over the years, so "Here I am" I guess?

Warm regards
Ole Dantoft

Bob, Donny,

Thanks a lot. I'll see what I can do. That seems like a great little steel gathering you had there!

Hej Ole. That's what I said, start up again. What would life be without a pedal steel to sit behind :?:
Nice to meet you again in Dublin. Maybe we could meet one day and have a little steel playing together.

Hejsan Uffe,
Yeah I don't know what happened, but I somehow found some inspiration and am trying to give that old Emmons a little spin again. Could be something in the water .... or perhaps the Guinness ? :D
It was certainly nice meeting you too. Getting together at some point to play a little could be fun and Ängelholm isn't that far away.
