Hello, Back to PSG again

Hi, my name is Brian and I used to be a member avery long time ago.
I used to have a Bennett Steel that was very good but decided to change to a Lap Steel to see if I could master that better than the PSG.
I have now retired early and so have time on my hands and have decided to give the PSG another go.
I am going to advertsie my Duesenberg Pomona 6 Lap steel on here to see if I can part exchange, swop or sell it for a decent PSG.
The Pomona has the multibender system on it, with three levers and the moveable capo and is in pristine condition.
I have always wanted to master the PSG, so hopefullly I may do this before I pop my clogs!!
All the Best, Brian

Hi Brian and welcome. I'm sure there's somebody selling a Bennett just now (and one has just sold on eBay if I remember right). If you are interested I'll see if I can find him? He got to us through Bob Adams. All best, Tony.

Hi Tony, thanks for the info, will get the Pomona advertised first and see how it goes. Don't think the wife would approve of me having both!! All the best, Brian.

Hi James, Thanks for the info, will look into this, although I have no idea how or what it would cost to send this sort or item to the states.
Will probably speak to Gerry Hogan who does this sort of thing all the time. Thanks once again, Brian

shipping an instrument to the states is rather easy Brian
send postal - it's the cheapest & still reliable
since it has a tracking number, it's considered registered mail
you can find the cost by looking at the online postal service : include weight & dimensions to get the cost
when you go to send at the po, there's a customs form to fill in - insure for same as " declared value for customs "
put " used musical instrument " include a bill or trade bill in a clear envelope on outside of the box
i gave the seller Ed, the link to this post
he just joined up here under : UndisclosEd

Hi James, Thanks for the information regarding the shipping and also for letting Ed know about my post.
He has been in touch and we are now in discussions with regard a possible sale, he has a FedEx account and is looking into the shipping costs etc.
Thanks again, Brian
