The British Steelies Society

Hi,
my name is Karsten Gorkow. I'm from Germany and a guitar player for a long time. Beside vertical 6-strings I love the sound of the pedal steel. I was hooked up by Jeff Baxter and his pedal steel playing on "Dallas", "Pearl Of The Quarter" and other Steely Dan tunes. This finally got me started to look for a used pedal steel (E9, Emmons standard setup or maybe a U12 Newman).

So here I am, awaiting serious offers ... further question will pop up when I own an instrument, I'm sure ...

Ah no, I already have one question: How can I send a PM? I tried by clicking the user name, but that leads me to a kind of user profile, no PM button or whatever ...

Hi Karsten,

To stop spam registrations PMing members, PMs are disabled until your first post is approved by an admin (which I have now done).

guten tag, wie gehts Karsten!

I believe Ted Tesbitt and Ken Byng both have Emmons guitars for sale at the minute drop them a pm.

Regards, Bob
