The British Steelies Society

Hi. Uffe Edefur from Sweden here. I visited Dublin last weekend and got to know about the BSS.
I love the steelguitar and play a GFI at the moment. After a 16 year long break I bought myself a steelguitar again about 7 years ago.
It was fun to be in Dublin among so many steelguitar interested nice people. I will be back next year.

Hello Uffe, welcome to this forum. It was great meeting you at the Irish festival. That's how it gets you, it makes you want to go back every year. I will certainly be there again also.

Hi there my new found friends. Hahaha, it was a party those days in Dublin. I feel that this is a forum that I should have been in much earlier But thruth is, better late than not at all.
The steel guitar get's in to our body under our skin and in to our souls, that's how I feel.
