Hi all, I'm Aurora

I've been playing dobro and lap steel for about 20 years now, semi professionally for some of that time, but never gotten involved in the steel guitar circles of the UK.

Sometimes I dream of having a pedal steel, but at the moment I'm focused more on acoustic playing. Besides, I anticipate moving abroad in the not too distant future and the last thing I need is a pedal steel to lug with me for that.

Welcome, it's cool to have some female input on the forum. It's a strange phenomenon, that people seem to take up the pedal steel later in life. With your lap and dobro experience I'm sure it'll be a smooth uptake. Good luck with your move and further musical adventures.
