Hi all

Thought I'd better say hi!

I've just picked up a PSG, amp and some other bits and bobs from some very helpful members of this community - thanks to everyone I've been talking to, it's hugely appreciated. An injury to my left hand led me in the direction of the pedal steel - I've been playing banjo for years but fretting is currently very difficult. Luckily I know the open tuning pretty well, and so far the pedals and levers are pretty intuitive. I've signed up to the Paul Franklin course which is very good, but not cheap. Every journey, small steps, and all that. I'm delighted to find such a helpful community online - I'm not a million miles from Hastings - if anyone's in that neck of the woods feel free to drop me a line!

Thanks Tony!

Hello John,
glad to hear you're sorted out, and up and running, and, from what I understand of the Paul Franklin course, if you stick at it, it won't be too long until we're coming to you for tips
Enjoy the ride!

It's very good (if a bit pricey)
