i recently found your site after getting re-acquainted with my old Carter Starter. I think I bought it about 15 years ago in a Guitar shop in Denmark Street but after an initial burst of enthusiasm it ended up getting packed away for nearly a decade.
Now I’m starting to get a little more free time and space its been restrung and adjusted and plays reasonably well for what it is. I’m looking forward to getting back into playing it and will also be keeping my eye out for an opportunity to upgrade to a better steel at some point.
