thanks for the heads up on the bar, I will certainly get in touch with Basil in the next few weeks and try one out. I can't believe my luck either, not only picking up this guitar, but all of the help and guidance I have got from you guys! John Davis is an absolute diamond, and like you say, I learnt more from him in a couple of hours than from anything else I have done so far. And your advice on here has been great, so thanks!
Now I have to get off of the computer and pull my finger out to get this thing back together.
