Hello from Central Scotland

Hello Everyone,

I'm Steve. New owner of a (second hand) Rayline 3x4 in E9.
Play a bit of guitar, some slide and have been messing about with a lap steel for a wee while (slide and lap guitar in open E).
Loving the pedal steel so far, hoping to be able (one day) to get up to speed sufficiently to blag my way through a couple of songs in the country band I play in.
That day is a long way off at the minute though!

Looking forward to getting involved, soaking up your knowledge and getting to know you all.

Hi Steve, you won't regret going along to Gartcosh. When I started playing pedal steel, it really helped me going along to Gartcosh. I learned a lot from the guys there, a lot of the time just watching how they did things really helped me learn the techniques.

Unfortunately I am no longer able to attend due to a medical condition, but otherwise I would be there. Of course you'll have to put up with the banter but they're a great bunch of guys, (don't tell them I said that ).
