Hi all. New member's first post. How you all doing?

I am looking to purchase this little beauty. I'm sure most of you are familiar with Emmons D10

All I have to go on are pictures. The seller is pretty vague on details, but I was wondering if someone could take a look and see if they notice any missing parts in the guitar's innards.

I'm new to lap steel. Been plugging away on an old Guyatone and Tiesco 6-string number for 6 months or so, but this popped up for sale and i might just be tempted if the price is right and everything is therefor it.

The pics aren't great of the mechanics, and these instruments are new to me, so I don't really know what I'm looking at.

Anyhow, if someone could wee have a gander and give me their expert opinion on what they see.

P.S. The pedal rods will come with it.

Regards, Stevie.

hard to tell from that underside pic, it looks all there and its Black so will sound better (according to legend) the only thing I can spot is a different finger screw on string 5 , may not mean much but not enough meat on fingers for a larger screw.
I think its a thing of great beauty and would buy it! Even if its in bits!

Hi Stevie,
I would have several questions before considering buying. Why is the seller being vague ? what is the location of the instrument ? can anyone inspect and play it before buying ?
An Emmons in good condition will not be cheap and will also be quite heavy.
If I were in the market for a guitar I would not buy unseen or having had a recommendation from a trusted player.
Keep us posted
Billy
