New to the forum and would like to say hi to you all.

A little about me I guess.

I've got a lovely Sheffield S10 that I really don't do justice, but am 'keeping on keeping on', as I love the instrument and when I do get 'that sound' out of it, I'm in a very happy place indeed. Any tips welcome. I'm from an indy guitar background from back in the day (so half deaf obvs)... Got a new career, but still had that itch, so really loving this new chapter. I'm also thinking of exploring a Deusenberg lap steel as I heard one at a gig and loved it. Any users on here? I'll have to unload some guitar stuff first if I do decide to get one. Two out, one in I reckon. Haha. I also have an Emmons S10 3+1 student steel, early 70's I think. It's had a very hard life but with the help of a good friend got it working. The pick-up is so strong. It's been painted matt black??? Not by me, I'll add. I Don't use it now I have the Sheffield and have no idea what it's worth, but it needs to get played if anyone is interested? If not I'll just look after it and try and do it up as it would be a shame not too.

And that's me really. Oh - I'm based near Brighton!
