I thought I might update you on the Palm benders. Progress has been a bit slow as I have just had a virus infection (not that one!) and was a bit slow to recover. I still have some mods to make. The pulleys have a height adjustment and they hit the frame too soon, so I have to chew out a bit of plastic, at the same time modifying the CAD files, so the next reprint gets rid of the problem. The right lever hit the jack plug, so that is being changed to a straight lever. All in all it seems to hold tune OK, but the adjustments are fiddley. Once you have the lever height set, the stops that limit the pitch bend are equally awkward to adjust, so there is a bit of thought to go into that, as I don't want to get out spanners when it needs tuning.
You can probably see that all of the metalwork is stainless steel and the rods, pulleys and collars are all 3D printer parts or RC model racer car bits, all cheap as chips from China.
