New member in Bucks

Hello Everyone and thanks for accepting me as a member. My name is Nick, I'm in my 50s and have been a singer/guitarist (fretted and slide) for many years playing in pubs with the occasional festival. I am now interested in getting my first lap steel with a view to trying it for both blues and country and see where it takes me. I'm looking to buy my first lap steel soon (maybe a Gretsch starter model or similar) and then get some lessons, so if anyone has any advice or recommendations they would be much appreciated. Nick.
