Peculiarly Named Member Usernames

Postby Admin » Sat Mar 19, 2011 1:54 am

Please Ignore!!! and don’t be tempted to click on them as they are all spam and a complete waste of time for them and us, I am currently binning them at the rate of 20+ daily and they are ‘one pain in the posterior!’ …

They are generally webhosting, mp3s, pharmaceuticals, and the cheapest this that and of course the other!

Their activity here is futile as their posts will never see the light of day! Hence the need for 1st post approval! :D

Anyway the battle is ongoing, just thought the ' regular membership' should be aware! ;)

Thanks for letting us know. I had indeed wondered about some of the wierd names and suspected it was spam but it is good to know for sure. Keep up the good work (and get yourself a nice comfy cushion to help with the pain in the butt.)

Bless ya'

an admistrator's task is never ending Bob
being one myself, i know just what one puts up with
as i had written in previous posts on forum protocol or rules ; i made it mandatory on my french steel guit'fo', from the git not to allow nicknames or pseudos as well as a screening procedure rather than permitting instant membership & access
my hats off to you for maintaining a steady course Sgt Major !
