Hi,
I'm new to the world of steel guitars, and my interest has been fuelled after buying an old 'amp in case' lap steel that requires a full restoration. I bought it because I have an interest in anything unusual and old in the guitar world. I'm hoping that you very knowledgeable people will be able to assist me in firstly identifying it, and then offering advice as I progress the resto, and hopefully eventually learning to play. I work in the marine world and being able to take one of these short instruments away with me would be a great bonus. I look forward to hearing from some of you soon.
Grahame
