Hi all,

I just signed up here after being redirected from the European Steel Guitar Forum; seems a lot more going on here! I've only been playing lap steel for a few months now (picked up a Recording King RG31 second hand) and really love it. Getting my first weissenborn soon and hoping to get really stuck into it. Hoping this website will be a good resource for me to meet new musicians, find new music and learn new things.

Welcome aboard Chris, we are mostley pedal pushers on here but there are a few "plank" players....... you may be interested in the steelies meeting I am having in Bedfordshire on Sunday 9th September????
