My name is Dan, and I am a displaced Texan living in Harrogate, England. I'm recently retired and have just started learning the lap steel guitar which I am enjoying very much. I purchased a Duesenberg Fairytale, a very lovely instrument. I prefer country music but am willing to listen to anything that is good. I hope to pick up a lot of knowledge from the experts here on this site. Hello everyone.

You certainly come to right place, there are many fine players
here that I am sure can help and advise you.
Take a peep at our lap steel section, lots of players who be willing to answer any questions you can throw at them.

Hi Dan - you are only abut 20 miles from me. I'll let you know when we have the next north-east steel players get together and maybe you'll join us?
