Thank you all for the welcome. I happened across Ron Kew's website and realized
that the lap steel player I used to accompany on his visits to Bristol
was none other than the late Keith Worley. He was a great player.
I'm still the proud owner of a Gretsch guitar but am tempted to sell it
to get hold of a PSG again. It's probably the only way I will get one

)
I also remember borrowing a Tokai Breezysound Telecaster to back
Rod King on a visit to Bristol steelies. Those were the days!!
The chap I borrowed the guitar from was called Alan but his
surname escapes me.
I guess nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
