new to steelies

Hello
i am 62 years 0ld and just joined the steelies a day or so ago i posted a post introducing myself, i know posts need to be verified before being put up for viewing but mine has not been verified yet how long would this take.
i have tried to play guitar years ago but damaged my left hand so i thought trying lap steel may help.
i have a electric AIRLINE and a WEISSENBORN, what do the people think.

Hi Jon and welcome, I too took up lap steel and slide after knocking 3 fingers off my left hand. Whilst I can still play bass tolerably well I took to slide and steel to enable me to still play 6 string. In my opinion you can't have more fun with a plank of wood! Hope it's going well for you
