I'm glad to be back on with The British Steelies Society, I know a lot of you and looking forward to meeting a lot more. Steel players are great people all over the world and forums like this and Bob's makes it easy to keep in touch and share a lot of knowledge that helps everyone.
Thanks for making me feel welcome.

Thanks James for using the BJS Bar I have made so many of them over the years and still I've got to order more stock and get some made before the Dallas show coming up in March.
But it is guys like you that keeps me going and I want to thank everyone that have supported me over the years and still I meet guys that have use the same Bar for over 30 years, boy I better stop because everyone will figure out I'm getting old, ha ha and I thank God for that.
Thanks,
Bill

Hello Bill Stroud

Many thanks for coming here and joining the new BSS forum and saying Hi..
Bill Stroud, I am sure you all know, makes the best quality steel guitar bars available, without a doubt. If your steel is lacking that sustain you want, his bars are the first thing to get before anything else.
You must check his website out as it's not just bars he makes and supplies.
Here.. http://www.bjsbars.com/

I would like to say many thanks to Bill for all the help he has given me personally in recent years as I know he has others too. I asked him, just this week, if he still owned an old steel guitar product that was available many years ago, and he said yes, dug it out, cleaned it up, and it's already on it's way to me. If I can master it, like I did a few years ago, I will give it a try on a future video. Bill requested Sweet Memories many weeks ago for me to try, so it may be this song that I use the gadget on. I won't say what it is just yet, but, Mark Dunn, you may want to check out the circuit and incorporate it into the steel mixers extras along with the Dobro setting which I know he is already working on.

Thanks for being a great friend Bill, see you next in Dallas 2011 where I will buy you a big Texas steak, for sure!
