newbie seeking Lap steel players in Dundee

Hello
ah the wonders of this internet thing -

I have been playing or should I say trying to play acoustic guitar for a while but due to arthritis it is a bit sore to hold a guitar so I thought
I could at least explore a lap steel. Maybe any players in Dundee Tayside could offer an hour or so of thier time just to let me try out a lap steel and maybe offer a few pointers about a first guitar. At the mo I think a Pedal steel would be a bit beyond my budget.

Any help / advice appreciated.
