Hello from newbie Sophie - Bristol

Hi all, thanks so much for all your hours of populating this forum for newbies like me!
I'm mostly here to find out if there are any Steelies teaching in Bristol? I'd like to organise a lesson for my partner for his valentines day present next year as he's keen to explore lap steel guitar. He's an on again off again bassist, so he has some musical knowledge. Even if there was a group that met regularly in Bristol, that would be good to know about
I've tried having a look around the forum but I could only find entries from 2013 for some reason.
Any help would be great!
