It seems this section has stagnated ( Well, we are getting older ! ) so I thought I'd try and wake it up !
Here's a few photo's of "old" subjects so have a look you lot and see if you got any, I'm sure that there
is a wealth of 'em out there !

I look at this stuff and feel jealous of all the shared history you guys have, doing this for so long. Then again, maybe not...

This pic was taken in " The Ponderosa " a pub in Linwood, Renfrewshire. I had been playing lap steel for about a year at this point, so I'm probably 22 in this picture. To my left is John " Cowboy " McCormack the boxer, then Irene Conway who was the singer in the band, then Bertie Auld who played wih Celtic, and last but not least, Tommy Conway, the singer and guitar player. If your memory can manage to recall the picture of Country Kin on this thread, that's the one with the mix up between Billy Murdoch and Bill Murdoch, you can see that Tommy carried on into that band also. It was a fund raising night in the pub, can't remember what for. The tie: I was such a smoothie then.

Cornish Arm's St Blazey where I think 90% of us oldie's played at some time or other, this is Frisco with Dave Sheriff giving it vocal, sometime around 73/74.
Crowd don't get much nearer than that, what a great gig.
